a creature once invaded our home
but it suffered a staircase death
and we covered it with a sheet

i looked down at its dying and draining vessel

the crescendos of blood speed
a steamy whistle of foggy sweat

the dark undertone of feces

the fading of the big drum heart

orifices oozing fluids
making a circular pool

the creature started to move
and from the pool
the creature arose

thicker
cloned
